Terms and Conditions

In booking an Intensive Driving Course with us it is considered an acceptance and agreement by yourself to the following Terms and Conditions;

1 The £100 deposit required on booking the course is non refundable.

2 If you wish to cancel any course that you have booked with us a minimum of fourteen days notice is required prior to the first day of the course otherwise the full course fee will become due and will therefore be required to be paid in full.

3 All trainees booked on any of our courses must reach the standard expected by the Driving Standards Agency before they will be allowed to take any Practical Driving Test, the course instructor will make the decision as to whether the expected DSA standard has been achieved and therefore whether the trainee will be able to be put forward to the Driving Standards Agency Practical Driving Test.

4 Should any trainee be withdrawn from a DSA practical driving test with less than three clear working days prior to the date of the practical driving test the DSA driving test fee will therefore be forfeited as the DSA require three clear days notice to either cancel or change the date of any booked driving test.

5 Accommodation for trainees is booked on a Bed & Breakfast basis should any trainee wish to bring anyone to accompany them whilst on the course they must make arrangements with the hotel for any such person’s accommodation and be solely responsible for any payment in respect of the accommodation booked.

6 The Comeback Scheme is only available to trainees attending either the Seven or Ten Day courses, and must be taken up within One Calendar Month of the trainee Failing their First driving test, any exception to this must have been received by the trainee from Intensive Driving UK in writing, prior to the commencement date of the Intensive Driving Course. Blackpool Driving Courses reserve the right to extend the One Calendar Month period if a suitable driving test is not readily available from the Driving Standard Agency. Trainees taking up the Comeback Scheme will be given the Date and time of the Practical Driving Test it is then the responsibility of the trainee to ensure that they make personal arrangements to ensure that they attend on the day and at the time instructed.

7 At no time at all will any form of Abuse, Threats or Violence be tolerated from either any trainee or person who may be accompanying them, either during training or any period when at the hotel, should this situation arise the trainees course will be terminated immediately and any course fee paid will be forfeited.

8 The course start time each day will usually be 08 30am but this time will be dependant on the hours remaining on the course and the timing of the Driving Standards Agency practical driving test, the Instructor will make a decision each day with regard to the starting and finishing times.

9 Booking any form of course with Blackpool Driving Courses is a contract and it is therefore accepted that you fully agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
